Frequently Asked Questions
How is my water usage determined?
The city does not normally need to enter your home to determine usage. The city obtains water usage information wirelessly from your water meter at the end of every month.
How could I have used this much water?
You could possibly have a leaky pipe, water heater, toilet or faucet that's difficult to detect. Carefully inspect these areas, looking for drips or puddles. You can check for toilet leaks using food coloring in the tank and see if it comes through to the bowl without flushing. If you see nothing, call the city office and we'll work with you to attempt to identify the problem, you may need to hire a plumber.
What do I do if I am experiencing low pressure?
Check your meter and the surrounding area for possible leaks. Next, check any water filters you may have in your home, they may need to be cleaned or replaced. If none of these identify the problem call the city office and report low pressure for your area.
What are my options for payment of my utility bill?
The City of Lamberton accepts payment by cash/check, automatic withdrawal, and credit/debit card (Fee may apply).
