Emerald Ash Borer Information

Unfortunately the Emerald Ash Borer is in Lamberton.  What does that mean?  The experts have forcasted 99% of ash trees will die from the Emerlad Ash Borer infestation.  Property owners need to be aware of what ash trees are n their property and what to be looking for.  If your ash trees do not look "look" sick, you need to be prepared for when they do.

The City of Lamberton has started removing ash trees from public properties.  The City Park was completed with new trees planted.  Kuhar Park ash trees have been removed from the main areas, and we will continue to take down trees as we go.  Removal of ash trees in the boulevards has begun.  It is being done in sections as the budget allows.  In 2025 removal began in the NW corner of town and moved east and south.  If you have an ash tree on your boulevard that is sick or dead and you are concerned about safety, please contact city hall and have them take a look.  We will remove trees that we deem unsafe.  Removal accross the city will be a process and will take time.  Becasue of us doing it in sections, we receive better pricing and can accomplich more.
