Redwood County childcare options increased in 2018

In Redwood County these days, a lack of childcare forces many parents to search further and further to find providers, even to the point of having to drive to different towns every day just to find reliable places to drop off the children for the day.

In the past year or so, the Redwood County EDA has put a high priority on increasing the number of childcare providers in the area.

In 2019, the Redwood County EDA plans to offer workshops and revolving loans to individuals thinking of becoming child care providers, and to do more detailed community studies to tailor programs for individual communities.
